Mount Art Without Worry

Archival mounting strips
Worried about glue ruining your favorite artwork? American®Frame has the solution. Our self-adhesive mounting strips let you mount your artwork without adhesive ever touching it.
These strips, which are assembled at intervals along the edges of the work, cradle the artwork and hold it in place within the frame treatment. When it’s time to remove or reframe the piece, it can be easily slid out without damage.
To apply the strips, position the print, photograph, or other paper-based item in place and adhere the strips to the mounting board.
Four-inch strips work well with larger art but can also be trimmed to accommodate smaller art sizes. The strips are made from 100% archival Mylar® and acid-free paper with a self-adhesive strip, to keep your art protected and securely in place.
